Message	of the down pipe connection changed because the motor/trans now sits more like oem spec. My auto trans mount was compressed and hard, compared to the new one. As you know, starting out with the wrong angle will affect and compound the tension in every connection. If all connections are as designed, there shouldn't be any tension in the pipe; thus more adjustability. Ken
